I had incredible mentors that helped me establish my career and learn what it means to be a professional. Without these people I wouldn't be the confident well rounded person I am today, and I feel it is imperative for me to pay that experience forward to other young professionals and students in the Carleton community.

About Robert Curtis

Robert graduated from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business in 2016 with a Bachelor of Commerce. During his time at Sprott he was involved with a variety of extra-curricular activities including Case Competitions, Frosh Week, and Student Clubs and also worked as a teaching assistant for a variety of Business courses in Finance and Business Strategy..

After graduation, Robert joined a mid-sized Financial Services firm in Ottawa, working in a variety of roles in the spaces of administration, project management, leadership, technology, and innovation. After spending a few years working in industry, Robert joined Deloitte Canada as a Consultant in the Finance and Performance service line. As a Consultant at Deloitte, Robert works with clients to assess and implement solutions for their toughest business challenges. Robert’s specialization is in digital finance transformation with a specific interest in Robotic and Intelligent Process Automation and SAP S/4HANA. He has a reputation as bridge builder between technical and functional sides of an organization; translating business needs and technical requirements to help ensure solutions are built according to leading practices and meet the requirements of the organization.

In addition to his professional experience, Robert also remains involved with the Sprott School of Business. He formerly held the position of coordinator and coach for the Sprott Competes case competition program, and always is happy to find time to give time back to the school and students.
