What makes you a good mentor?
As I have progressed through my career, I have been lucky to work in multiple industries and with highly skilled professionals. I would like to mentor current students and recent graduates to assist them in finding their career paths. I would also use the opportunity to introduce suitable mentees to my current employer and professional network for career opportunities.
About Anuj Nijhawan
Anuj is a Director in CGI’s Banking and Financial Services Practice in Canada. Anuj’s consulting, capital markets, management and entrepreneurial experience along with his technical background bring a unique skillset to the team.
Prior to joining CGI, he worked as a management consultant for KPMG and Deloitte advising clients in areas of business/ IT strategy, shared services and outsourcing, due diligence, divestiture planning and program management. Anuj’s capital markets experience includes covering technology and media sectors at boutique investment banks. His industry experience includes work in a business development capacity at a growing software company and as a business analyst at a wealth management company executing special projects across the organization.
Anuj was also the co-founder of an Ottawa based technology startup that provided products and solutions to the retail industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University.
