I am passionate about mentoring because in life you get back what you put in. I have been fortunate enough to have had a couple of mentors who made a real difference in my career and so I feel a sense of responsibility to pay that forward to the next generation.
About Don Harrison
Don has 30 years of national experience in virtually all aspects of the commercial real estate industry including leasing, asset management, development, investments, and operations. He joined GWL Realty Advisors, one of Canada’s largest real estate advisory platforms, in 2000 and in his current role has overall responsibility for client management, research services and strategy, and new business development initiatives. Don also serves on the company’s Executive, Investment, and Compensation Committees. Prior roles within the firm include Senior Vice President, Asset Management, and Vice President, Asset Management & Development where he was responsible for the overall leadership, management, and financial performance of a 30 million square foot, $8 billion commercial real estate portfolio.
Don is on the Corporate Board of NAIOP and is Past President of NAIOP Vancouver; and serves on the Advisory Councils of BOMA Canada and Canuck Place.
