What makes you a good mentor?
I had a mentor my first year of university and it really changed my experience at Carleton. I was a mentor the following years and I absolutely loved it. Being there for someone is something that I am very passionate about. I know that navigating through career or even just a new city can be tough, but having someone to share the experience with can seem a little less intimidating.
About Eleonora Romaniello
My name is Eleonora and I am originally from Rome, Italy. I came to Carleton University to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Marketing. I was very involved on campus between being a TA, an international student mentor and the marketing manager for Sprott Student Investment Fund.
After my degree I moved to Montreal to start my career at British American Tobacco as a sales representative. After less than a year, I was promoted to Manager, Customer Activation, which was a position in between sales and marketing. In 2021, I switched industry and became the Manager of Innovation at Saputo, where I created new dairy products for the Canadian market. Recently I joined L’Oréal as a Marketing Manager for SkinCeuticals where I’m in charge of campaigns for the brand.
In my free time I love baking, travelling and spending time with friends.
