About Christine Lyons
In 2016, Christine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing, and she loved her time at Carleton so much that she couldn’t help but stick around. Since then, Christine has worked in writing, content creation and strategic communications at Carleton, predominantly in the areas of community outreach and recruitment.
Christine is currently the Writer and Content Strategy Specialist with the Department of University Advancement. In this role, Christine crafts strategic documents, marketing content, and communications and knowledge mobilization plans. These strategic communications enhance community outreach and development initiatives, such as university partnerships, engagement, fundraising, philanthropy and community liaison.
In 2020, Christine earned a Master of Arts degree in English, making her a proud two-time Carleton alumna. Christine has addition certifications in Technical Writing and Knowledge Translation.
