What makes you a good mentor?
I want to help the transformation process for Carleton football student athletes into the workplace and life after football. I believe many of the lessons inherent with being a successful student athlete are applicable to life after university. Life balance, accountability, leadership, discipline, working with others, initiative, dedication, goal setting and achievement are just a few attributes that transcend both student and adult life. A mentor to a young adult can be a great sounding board to help hone these characteristics to achieve life success. Where practical I could help channel individuals towards certain career opportunities.
