What makes you a good mentor?
I am an experienced social worker who can offer support and guidance to anyone new to the profession and looking for someone to discuss career options or practice issues with. I have benefited from the mentorship of some wonderful professionals who have been very influential in my professional career, and I would like to be able to give back in this way.
About Stephanie Bailey
Stephanie graduated from the School of Social Work at Carleton in 2004. Stephanie completed her student placements at The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre and the federal government. She started working at The Royal immediately after graduation, and is currently a social worker in the Mood Disorders program at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre. Stephanie is also the Acting Professional Practice Lead for Social Work, which allows her to provide support and leadership to the members of the social work discipline while advocating for the profession within the organization and the larger community.
