What makes you a good mentor?
I am lucky enough to have had a number of excellent mentors during my transition from being a student to entering the workforce. Although I am still in the beginning stages of my career, I hope that I can provide support to students as they consider and explore their career options.
About Nadine Adam
I completed my Honours B.Sc. at Carleton in the spring of 2013, and subsequently entered into a M.Sc. program at the University of Ottawa doing biomedical research. After successfully completing my M.Sc., I spent just over 2 years working in academia as a technician at the University of Ottawa. I am currently a technician working at Health Canada in the Consumer and Clinical Radiation Protection Bureau. While my work is constantly evolving, it focuses on studying the health effects of ionizing radiation at the molecular level.
