Believe it or not, it’s been 30 years since graduation!

To celebrate this milestone anniversary, a motivated team of fellow alumni have been working with Carleton University to host a reunion during Throwback, Carleton’s homecoming weekend.

Whether you crossed the stage in 1996 or finished your degree in 1997 after a co-op term or an extra semester, if you consider yourself part of the Class of ’96, you’re invited!

Itinerary

• 6 p.m. Reconvene at Ollie’s Pub and Patio for snacks and drinks
• 4 p.m. Meet in Minto CASE Lobby 
• 4:15 p.m. Tour the new Engineering Design Centre (EDC) and Civil Engineering Structures Lab space with Associate Dean, Jeffrey Erochko 
• 4:45 p.m. Brief meet and greet featuring a welcome speech by reunion committee members Neal Hall, Brian Johnson and Doug Raby and remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Ron Miller

Venue and Parking

Paid visitor parking is available in lot P2 in front of Nideyinàn (formerly the University Centre). Additional visitor parking can be found in lot P18, the parking garage located nearest to the Bronson entrance to campus.

Construction Update: As part of a critical watermain project, Campus Avenue is closed between Rideau House and Nicol Building

If parking in lot P2: Due to the ongoing construction and one way direction of Campus Avenue, vehicles will need to enter Library Road near the Colonel By entrance in order to access the Minto building and nearby parking lot of P2, located in front of Nideyinàn (formerly the University Centre).

If parking in lot P18: Use the Bronson entrance and follow University Drive to access the P18 parking garage. Please use the sidewalks on the east side of Campus Avenue (closer to the O-Train tracks) to walk from the lot to the Minto building.
