You’re Invited

Believe it or not, it’s been 30 years since graduation!

To celebrate this milestone anniversary, a motivated team of fellow alumni have been working with Carleton University to host a reunion during Throwback, Carleton’s homecoming weekend.

Whether you crossed the stage in 1996 or finished your degree in 1997 after a co-op term or an extra semester, if you consider yourself part of the Class of ’96, you’re invited!

We’ll kick things off with a meet and greet to catch up. After a short break so folks can grab dinner at nearby restaurants or explore campus, we’ll reconvene at Ollie’s to end the evening with snacks, drinks and plenty of stories. No networking sessions or PowerPoint presentations — just a chance to reminisce with old friends and classmates. Additional venue and itinerary details to follow.

Help us find everyone! If you’re in touch with classmates from 1996 or 1997, please forward the reunion information and encourage them to update their contact information by emailing cu_proud@carleton.ca.

Three decades gives us plenty to catch up on. Some of us have built bridges, designed chips, managed projects, started companies, or taught the next generation. And others are still solving problems the same way we did at Carleton: gathering around a whiteboard and convincing ourselves it’ll work.

We hope you’ll join us to reconnect and celebrate in the place where it all started!
