People with Purpose: Hollis Peirce, BAHons/2015 MA/2018 History

Hollis Peirce is a historian, motivational speaker, podcast host, and 2024 Meritorious Service Medal award winner. A proud graduate of Carleton’s BAHon and MA History programs, Hollis offers a new perspective on disability in the modern era through his podcast, Twenty-First Century Disability. In 2022, he created the Hollis Peirce Bursary for Students With Disabilities to help other Carleton students with physical disabilities achieve their academic goals.
