Senate Representative

The Call for Expressions of Interest is now open. Deadline to submit is July 9, 2026.

The Senate Representative represents the interests and views of the Carleton University Alumni Association (CUAA) and its constituents in the debates of the Senate by providing advice and guidance. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the online application below to submit an expression of interest.

In this role, you will:

Attend all Senate meetings as required for a three-year term (Senate meeting schedule)
Bring an alumni perspective to the debates and discussions of the Senate
Support the mandates of Carleton University, the Department of University Advancement and the Carleton University Alumni Association 
Report back on Senate decisions and other Senate business of potential interest to the CUAA, Executive Council members and the Department of University Advancement
