Jason Daley (BCom/99)

President

Jason is the Director of Business Development at the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), where he leads outreach, builds relationships with sponsors and members to drive revenue growth.

A longtime volunteer with Carleton University, Jason co-founded Hatch, a young entrepreneur incubator that is now part of the university’s Innovation Hub. He has received volunteer service recognition awards from the Sprott School of Business and the Carleton University Alumni Association (CUAA). Jason continues to give back to Carleton and currently serves as President of the CUAA.

Jason is involved throughout the Ottawa community and sits on the board of Capital Prosperity Foundation to help address marginalized communities across the city. He is also a previous recipient of Ottawa’s Top 40 Under 40 award and Invest Ottawa’s Rising Star CEO Award.

Why Give Back?

I give back to Carleton because I forged many relationships and impactful experiences on campus (past to present) which I highly value in my life and wish to help make a similar positive impact for current students.
