What makes you a good mentor?

I have benefited so much from those who have taken the time to share their professional and personal experiences with me. I have been a mentor in other programs and have learned as much or more from those I was supposed to be mentoring as they did from me.

About Susanna Cluff-Clyburne

A political junkie since childhood, I am the primary liaison between the Canadian Chamber and parliamentarians. This means I am responsible for ensuring parliamentarians have the opportunity to hear from, and exchange views with, the Canadian Chamber and its members on issues that matter to not only Canada’s businesses but the Canadians who are employed by them.

I also hold some economic policy files including Aboriginal and Northern Affairs, SME issues, industrial relations in the federally-sector and retirement savings.

Prior to joining the Canadian Chamber in 2008, I was Director, Government Relations, at Bell Canada where I held several policy files including broadcasting regulation, labour relations, telecommunications policy reform, and the protection of children on the internet.

My personal interests include amateur theatre, Canadian history/literature, youth-related programs, dogs and the outdoors. I am also a volunteer with the Russell Township Food Bank.
