Barry McLoughlin founded McLoughlin Media in 1984 and has offices in Ottawa, ON and Washington DC. Delivering approximately 250 customized seminars annually, McLoughlin Media trains executives to communicate effectively in media interviews, presentations and crises and individually coaches senior executives and political leaders from premiers to prime ministers.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at Carleton, McLoughlin earned his Masters of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University where he specialized in the study of the media’s impact on government and business. Following several years as a television writer, producer and on-camera host, he launched McLoughlin Media with his partner Laura Peck.
McLoughlin is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the International Association of Business Communicators.
