Jennifer Luce, BArch/84, is the winner of the 2007 A.D. Dunton Alumni Award of Distinction, Carleton’s most prestigious alumni honour.
Luce is an internationally acclaimed architect whose work has been celebrated in the New York Times, the LA Times, the Globe and Mail, Canadian Architect, Progressive Architecture and many other media venues. Her architecture is highly refined and exploratory. Her projects range from the much celebrated Nissan Design Studios just outside Detroit, Michigan to furniture designs and interior renovations at the restaurant George’s at the Cove in La Jolla, California.
Recently Luce brought her success back to Carleton University’s School of Architecture as a guest lecturer. She has also started the California Internship Program, where she invites Carleton students to come and work in her studio in California to gain valuable work experience in her acclaimed firm.
