I believe it is a wonderful way to give back to the Carleton community, as I myself benefitted from the Alumni Mentors program. I also enjoy connecting with students, and finding ways to network and support them as they pursue their studies and careers.

About Naomi Brito

Naomi is an MA graduate in Law & Legal Studies at Carleton University. She holds an honours Bachelor of Music History, Theory, & Critical analysis, with double minors in psychology & criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University. Her research interests include Indigenous Peoples, Human trafficking, & the Social determinants of health. Currently, she is working full-time for the Interval House of Ottawa in administrative & policy support, and is actively involved in the community as a volunteer with both Ottawa Victim Services and the Ottawa Coalition to End Human Trafficking.
