About Victoria Marcantonio
I graduated from Carleton University in 2015 with a Bachelor of International Business with a concentration in International Marketing and Trade and a minor in Spanish. I previously worked as a Lead Generation Coordinator at Bank & Vogue where I managed a portfolio of prospective customers. I was responsible to build and nurture relationships with prospects and offer potential solutions to their business needs. I began working at EDC in 2015 and I currently work as a Global Trade Associate. My role involves contributing to the promotion and delivery of trade creation opportunities for Canadian exporters in the AgriFood, Forestry and Light Manufacturing sectors. I attend industry events to maintain and build my knowledge of each sector and to get to know the Canadian companies within it. I contribute to the promotion of relevant Canadian companies to international buyers based on their procurement needs, and help to facilitate introductions. In addition, I contribute to the delivery of EDC-led matchmaking events in order to help Canadian companies grow their business.
