I believe that the opportunity to be guided, inspired and listened to is invaluable—especially to someone at the outset of their career. About Catherine Kitts

Catherine Kitts works at Carleton University as the recruitment communications officer in the Undergraduate Recruitment Office. She researches, writes, edits, proofreads, facilitates and manages the production of promotional and marketing materials in both print and electronic formats.

Before finding a home in the world of communication, marketing and advertising, Catherine worked as a reporter and editor for a news agency in Ottawa. Her current role is the perfect marriage between the writing, research and interviewing skills she honed during her time as a journalist, and the outside-the-box creativity that has been a cornerstone in her professional career.

With a passion for digital strategy and new media, Catherine co-founded a popular lifestyle blog before starting her own b2b digital communications agency in 2015.

Catherine earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree at Carleton University in 2010.
