What makes you a good mentor?

I relied a lot on mentorship to get me through school and into my career. I was the first in my family to get a post-secondary education and I leaned on the guidance of others to help me navigate school and getting into my career. I look forward to the opportunity to pass that guidance along and help someone else out.

About Jessica Harding

Previous to my current role at Giant Tiger, I lead the marketing team at a not for profit research organization and held various marketing roles in the retail and financial services industries.

I have experience transforming the way an organization thinks about marketing, shifting from mass to targeted messages and experiences.

I have worked on one of Canada’s oldest and leading loyalty programs which has given me a true passion for B2C marketing. Using my PMPĀ® certified project management skills, I have led teams to deliver operational improvement projects, sales generation campaigns, retention programs and customer experience improvement initiatives.

When I’m not at work, I love spending time outdoors and in the kitchen. I have held various volunteer positions with Jumpstart Charities over the last 7 years, which allows me to combine my love of being active with the ability to help kids play sports – which is an amazing combination.
