About John Hastings
John runs a socially responsible wealth management practice with RBC Wealth Management here in Ottawa. John is a former member of the Canadian NAtional Kayak Team and was an alternate on the 2012 Olympic team. John previously worked for a boutique management consulting firm called Analytica Advisors in Ottawa, conducting research in the clean technology and renewable energy space. In addition to his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton, John earned his MBA from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and is a level 2 candidate in the CFA program.
