Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 3rd and there is a special opportunity for your donation to be double-matched.
When you donate to any project, initiative or fund of your choice on Giving Tuesday, it will be matched twice – meaning that your gift of $25, for example, becomes $75. You can choose to direct your donation to any area that is meaningful to you and there are over 1,300 to choose from.
This double-matching opportunity is open to alumni who have graduated from Carleton between 2014 and 2018. Using the search feature on FutureFunder.ca, you can find a cause that’s meaningful to you. You can also browse the latest crowdfunding campaigns to see what students are working on right now.
It has been amazing to see the support so far this year from recent grads like yourself, who have stepped up and supported current students through their donations to student aid, the endowed student emergency fund, the Fund for Good and other initiatives.
There are also special challenges on Giving Tuesday where you can try to win additional funding for the initiative you support, including one specifically for alumni who have graduated within the past 5 years where you could win up to $500 towards the project that you’re supporting.
