Each year, awards are given to outstanding Carleton alumni who are making exceptional contributions in their communities (work, volunteer) locally, throughout Canada and abroad. If you know someone deserving of this award, please submit your nomination here. The Carleton University Alumni Association offers a suite of awards to showcase these achievements. We are accepting nominations for the following awards:

A.D. Dunton Alumni Award of Distinction

To recognize outstanding achievement or contribution in any field of endeavor.

Humanitarian Alumni Award

Pays tribute to graduates who have made significant contributions to the well-being of society and to members of society through their dedication, generosity, and commitment to the betterment of the global community.

Young Alumni Achievement Award

Award recognizes a recent graduate (aged 35 years and under) who has achieved significant accomplishments in their professional or personal achievements since graduation.

Founders Award

Recognizes and pays tribute to those individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Carleton University through their dedication, generosity and commitment to the values of the university.

Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award

Recognizes one of the university’s greatest assets — our dedicated alumni volunteers. Recognizes an active member of the Carleton University Alumni Association whose spirit and commitment to Carleton are exemplary.
