 New Graduates

Getting your degree this year? You are now a part of the Carleton University Alumni Association (CUAA)—a thriving organization of 110,000+ Carleton graduates living and working around the world. Through the CUAA, you can remain connected to your alma mater, build a network of friends and business contacts, receive exclusive offers and invitations, and access Carleton services that will help you embark on the next phase of your life.

It’s easy to join the CUAA—in fact, you’re

automatically a member as soon as you cross the stage at convocation. But here are a few important steps to make sure you get the most out of your alumni association membership:

Celebrate with us! We’ll be at your convocation ceremony to present you with a CUAA lapel pin—your official welcome to the association—the moment you cross your stage.

Meet us online! Any time after convocation, drop by the Carleton Café, the award-winning online community for alumni. The Café is where you can update your contact information, find friends, post personal news, join your local alumni chapter, make a Career Connection with fellow graduates, get involved in alumni events, shop for unique alumni clothing and gifts, and order your personalized alumni ID card—your official badge of membership in the CUAA. The Café is also where you’ll find details about the Perks of Membership — great rates on unique products and services including:

Stay in touch! While you’re in the Café, sign up for @alumnia free, full-service email account that shows the world you’re a Carleton graduate. You can use this email to send out resumes, to join Carleton networks on Facebook, or to receive invitations and special offers from the university.

Make sure you update your mailing address too, so you can receive Carleton University Magazine. Read great articles, profiles, news and updates about your fellow grads, and learn about the latest happenings on campus.

Need more information? Keep your address up to date in the Carleton Café, or stop by the Alumni Relations office on the sixth floor of Robertson Hall. We're on Facebook, too!

Congratulations from your fellow Carleton alumni!
